does the tea make your hair darker?

I did this on Sunday & my hair feels a little bit stiffer than normal. I also did a bentonite clay application before I did the tea rinse & deep condish. I wonder if the clay has something to do with my hair feeling a little stiffer this week? I’ll try it again this Sunday without the clay to see if my results differ any. Thanks for the info!

can you use green tea ?

  5. Dark0Malkavian says:

@MikeyMoon06 First you have to determine how dense/full your hair is. If your hair has extreme natural volume, your hair is thick (4in or more diameter when pulled back into a ponytail). Medium volume, your hair is normal (2-3in when pulled back). No volume, your hair is thin (2in or less). After you wash your hair and let it air dry, run a hand through it. If you use more than 3 strands(thick)/2 strands (normal)/1 strand (thin), then you’re losing too much hair.

@Dark0Malkavian How do you know if you have more than 75-125 strands? I can’t just count my hair strands. Lol! All jokes aside though. How do you determine when you are losing the appropriate amount of hair?

  7. Dark0Malkavian says:

Shedding is healthy, don’t try to stop your hair from doing it unless you see it sheds in extremes (more than 75-125 strands a day). Just like your hair, your skin sheds and if you stop it from shedding, guess what’s gonna happen? Your skin is going to harden and crack. Your hair will do the same thing and because youre not getting rid of the old and dead hair, you’ll eventually loose your hair because youre not allowing room for new growth.

Is this safe to use if u have color, will it change the color of your hair, I have green tea so that’s what i’ll be using if it won’t affect my color??

Do you rinse the black tea before putting the deep conditioner in, or leave the tea in and put deep conditioner in?
