This teapot looks deceptively small, but can hold about 8 cups of tea. It has a nice wide mouth, so it is easy to fill it… and easy to clean afterwards.

This makes several cups of tea at a time and the pot stays warm for a long time. I was going to knock off a star because it doesn’t have a strainer at the base of the spout like the small pots do, but so far my tea leaves have pretty much acted as a strainer and very few leaves actually pour out. It is so much better than the little porcelain teapots that I just have to rate it high.

I collect teapots,so I have a number of them. However, for everyday tea brewing, Corelle is my choice. The teapots are both attractive and sturdy, and inexpensive enough that you need not worry about breakage. However, I have used one of another pattern for years, without damage. The Shadow Iris is a patricularly lovely pattern, whether for decorative purposes or everyday use.
