Perfect: useful and practical,
This little tea infuser is my favorite, and I have many (I’m an eternal optimist). It is easy to use, fits any size cup, is easy to clean, and has plenty of room for the tea leaves to expand (unlike any tea ball I’ve ever found). It is wonderful to be able to make one cup of really good tea when you want it. You can use your best loose tea, preheat your mug, cover the infuser with its little dish while your tea is steeping, and there you are: perfect tea, no not-quite-good-enough tea bags, with very nearly the convenience of bags. You can use it to re-brew your elegant oolongs, as you would for gong-fu style tea. And it’s ecologically sound too — use the spent leaves to mulch your house-plants, wash the infuser and its dish, nothing goes into the landfill. And it won’t break, either; always a recommendation in my house. Could it be prettier? well, probably. But if “Form follows function” describes the best design, then it is perfect. I have one, and I’ve been searching for another (to give to my tea-loving brother). Yay Amazon, at last I’ve found one.

|BEST TEA INFUSER EVER!,
PERFECT!
1. No tea particles will slip through, even rooibos! That’s hard to find.
2. I love that it’s made of stainless steel, and there are no plastic or silicone parts, so it’s totally safe and easy to clean.
3. It fits any cup! From small to big.
And finally, I think it looks MUCH better in person than in the picture.
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I ordered several for gifts, and I’m sure I’ll be ordering more in the future.

|Magnificent tea infuser!,
Tea balls are a hassle and a mess, this infuser is very easy to use! You can put the loose leaf tea in the infuser, or pour your brewed tea through it to strain it. It looks like the holes are laser drilled. The amount of tea dust that makes it through is almost imperceptible. Any more effective, and I think if you poured your tea through you’d get hot water out the other side! (I’m just kidding for the humor impaired.)
The product dimensions listed are for the BOX the unit comes in. The infuser itself measures 2-1/4″ tall by 2-1/4″ wide at the top and 2″ wide at the bottom. The handle from tip to tail is 5-1/4″. The handle is welded to unit, and cannot be removed.
One small thing that bugs me is tea leaves can get trapped under the rim when washing it out. Other than that, this is the perfect infuser.
