   The GROSCHE KENT Infuser is a great idea on paper, but fails miserably as a product.

   For starters, the pictures make the glass look very durable and thick. Unfortunately, this couldn’t be farther from the truth. The glass is incredibly thin and feels like it can break easily. It’s important to be careful while handling the mug and the infuser.

   After only a few uses, the infuser developed a hairline crack from one of the straining holes where they cut the class. I never dropped or mishandled it, so I’m guessing it’s due to the temperature changes of the water.

   The infuser has 12 small cuts on the bottom that allows the water to strain through. Unfortunately, tea leaves can easily become clogged and stuck in these cuts and it’s nearly impossible to clean them out due to the design.

   I would not recommend this product.

   This is a great little system for making tea without affecting the taste. It is all glass, with no steel or tea bags or filters to spoil the taste, and it works great.
   My only complaint is that it is very thin borosilicate glass (not tough Pyrex), and it could be easily chipped or broken (although mine is still fine after many uses).

   No wonder the glass has been described as of medical grade because it is like that of a test tube… after I received it, I washed it and accidently slipped from my hands, bumped into the other dishes and bingo..! goodbye $13.87! DON’T BUY THIS…!
