   I love fine hotel towels. Not the “fluffy” “soft” kind, but the kind that is ruff enough to leave my skin feeling scrubbed and clean. And every time I look at the label of those towels it is “Martex.” These towels are exactly what I wanted. After 2-3 washes they feel just like the fine hotel towels. They are thick and rich, and just ruff enough. Good price!

   What are you looking for?
   Super soft rayon/bamboo?
   8000 Gram towels?
   100% suprima egyptian cotton?
   Zero Twist?
   Luxury Turkish Cotton?

   Thats what I thought. Until I ordered a set of these Martex and a set of the “all of the above” towels. These towels are a great price and a great towel. I feel robbed by spending all that money on the fancy high-priced rayon/bamboo towels.

   The Martex are thick and heavy. Soft, but not super-soft. I found out that I don’t really like the “super-soft.” It’s akin to going to a really fancy restaurant and ordering piece of meat with a fancy name and you find out you would have been better off saving $$ and going to get a good old-fashioned juicy steak at your favorite place.

   I bought these towels after purchasing and liking Martex washcloths. These towels feel very soft on your skin, they are high quality and will not fray. The washcloths that are similarly constructed has been in daily use for a year and they still look and feel good. They soft on your skin, without being heavy super plush towel that I don’t like. They are sized 52 in by 30 in.

   P.S. When I was buying I did a bit of research on the manufacture and found that they also make washcloths and towels that are sold in Bed, Bath and Beyond. So that helped with the confidence that they will be decent quality. And they are!
