   近年来比较少看到卖膏药的摊主用方言，一般都使用华语。年轻一代对于籍贯的认同也逐渐淡化。我是新加坡人。不知道马来西亚的情况如何？

    Really funny.

    Only in spoken Cantonese and Hokkien will the jokes sound very funny. …esp bad and dirty jokes, life jokes and personality and lifestyles jokes.

    If the same jokes use Mandarin, the main part of the jokes will not be so evident.

    No wonder no matter how the government try to suppress dialects, Hokkien and Cantonese is still popular language in entertainment industry.
