@jfjkf Deep conditioning is not a must. Regular conditioner would do the same. The tea tends to stiffen the hair so some sort of conditioner would be needed.

  2. jfjkf says:

Do you have to Deep Condition…or just condition?

@Lois1593 Hey there I apologize for the delay in answering your question! A detangler comes either in spray or liquid form you usually use it while you are washing your hair to easily comb thru your hair.

  4. Lois1593 says:

This may sound like a stupid question, but how and when do you use a detangler?

  5. missthis897 says:

@honeyebby Hey there! some remedies work for some and not for others. The tea can be drying so I let it sit first and them add my DC on top of it so I can add the mositure back into my hair. This method had worked great. The Mane n Tail detangler works great even on dry hair. Thanks for watching. Hope the tea rinses work better for you if you try the dc method.

night give main and tale a try, i am four months post and i am fights with my relaxed hair, prone to popping lol, the new growth seems much easier to tame. your hair reminds me of my natural hair texture. your hair looks great by the way

  7. honeyebby says:

yeah, tracey is also how i heard about it. i must not be doing it right because it has not worked for me. i do alot of sew ins, but im leaving that alone for a while. so imma start back doing the black tea rinses and see if im wrong about it. i thought it would dry the hair out, but i see you use conditoner at some point with it

@bintasyllah No problem. I like to let my viewers/subbies know where they can find great tips. Im on this hair journey also lol. YOu could use a dryer or bonnet but I usually just do the shower cap or I will wrap a regular large towel around the shower cap and sit like that.

  11. missthis897 says:

@BluV8ynes88 Thank you so much! The rinses are working great for me, I hope u get similar results.

  12. bintasyllah says:

@missthis897 Do you sit under a bonet dryer or anything?

  13. bintasyllah says:

Thanks for the applicator bottle tip. Also thanks for shouting out to others who’ve helped you on your journey. 😀

@BarbeeLuv1 Hey Kiss sis! Yes I wash, put the Btea on let it sit, add the dc on top of the bTea, sit for another 15-20 min and then rinse and style.

  16. BarbeeLuv1 says:

Ok so you say that you…

    1) you wash first. 2) you apply your BTR. Let that sit for 15/20 min 3) Then DC. 4) then rinse and style?

  17. missthis897 says:

@MissyFromPhilly I havent noticed any dying of my hair from the tea. I was actually hoping that it would but I havent noticed or heard of it darkening the hair.

  20. missthis897 says:

@Sn0opie Black tea helps lessen any shedding you may have. Its strengthens the hair so that its less prone to shedding/breakage.

  21. MissyFromPhilly says:

I have a question: does it change the color of your hair? Since it’s black, does it dye your hair noticeably black?

  22. Sn0opie says:

whats the effect of black tea rinses?

  23. missthis897 says:

@shorty2sweet59 Thanks girl! I love a great home remedy.

  24. missthis897 says:

@starnevaeh LMBO Yeah I saw that box too. Im loving these rinses and I also heard that its good (healthwise) to drink as well.

  25. missthis897 says:

@rizeuse Hey girl! Actually for me that M&T makes my hair soft and very managable with dealing with the NG. I am able to detangle easier with it. I know that the product line for detanglers and endless so if this one doesnt work there is definatley one that will.
